Abstract

This paper reaffirms Indonesia’s position that it cannot normalize relations with Israel on the basis of humanitarian principles and justice. Support for Palestine is not framed as a religious or ethnic conflict, but as a response to a prolonged occupation that has lasted for more than seven decades. Palestinians are described as facing systematic human rights violations, discrimination, forced displacement, and severe humanitarian conditions resulting from military actions, blockades, and territorial annexation. These realities underscore the view that the Palestinian issue represents one of the most serious global injustices of modern times and forms the moral foundation of Indonesia’s stance.
